March Fort Worth Photo Shoot

I showed up with Avoca Coffee in hand for everyone and our mid-day photoshoot began with my favorite Fort Worth, Texas creatives. All the photos for this shoot, and subsequently for my website- were shot on 35mm film by Helen Jade. Her quiet and assertive nature brought so much calmness to the whole day. Dogs barked, records were playing, palo santo was burning- and she quietly caught it all. Kyndra owns a vintage shop and helps manage a local clothing boutique while Jake is a local musician and the go-to guy at everyone’s favorite taco place, Salsa Limon. They are all old friends that I met through my job, and when I asked what their thoughts were for my idea for this- everyone jumped on board! The photographs were meant to show the in-between moments of hairdressing. Shapes. Texture. Light and dark. The parts that make the experience relaxing and magical. Id say we nailed it.
